CATCH-UP
Please join our KENRIC online catch-up for members and friends, old and new. A general chat in small groups about life, films, food, places, recommendations, daily wins, and anything else! An especially warm welcome to any new members of KENRIC who would like to join us to say hello.

SPINES IN THE SPOTLIGHT
Join us for a talk, followed by a Q&A, about working as an educational volunteer with Merton Hedgehog Rescue & Rehabilitation.

THEMED BOOK CLUB
Anna hosts our monthly visit to the themed book club, a place for sharing and learning about new books and authors. Each month there will be a theme. This time, it is "Any other environment than where you currently live."
Attendees will get a chance to share their choice for future themes, as well as why they chose the book, why they like it (or not) and the basics of the storyline. There will also be the opportunity to ask questions.

GENDER STORIES
Brighton Museum
This thought-provoking exhibition sensitively examines the fluid, multifaceted world of gender across cultures, eras and personal experiences. Please pre-book ticket. Your ticket also gives free entry to the museum for one year. We will go around at our own pace. There are two rooms in the exhibition and, on our recce, it took about 90 mins to see everything. Lunch afterwards (optional). Accessible venue.

LOVE LETTERS EXHIBITION
The National Archives, Kew
This free exhibition features correspondence that spans over 500 years of devotion, longing, sacrifice, heartache, and passion.
Encompassing forbidden relationships and family members separated by distance and circumstance, Love Letters offers a rare glimpse into personal emotions captured in a government collection – tender, intimate and deeply human. Meet outside the main entrance. If you arrive early, there is an on-site coffee shop and café.

"EGGS AREN'T THAT EASY TO MAKE"
Riverside Studios, Hammersmith
A queer rom-com by Maria Telnikoff.
Join us for a play hot off a successful Edinburgh Fringe run. The production explores friendship and chosen family as best friends navigate the consequences of a drunk, decade-old promise to be a sperm donor. It's a big-hearted story focusing on a lesbian couple navigating the complexities of starting a family with a best friend as the donor.

PÉTANQUE
Newhaven
Join us for a fun and friendly game of pétanque in Newhaven. Beginners, dabblers, experienced players and spectators welcome. Free to play.
Equipment provided. Suitable for all fitness levels. Wear whatever you feel comfortable playing in. Meet in the Hope Inn, West Pier, Newhaven. The pétanque area is opposite and we'll play for about an hour. Lunch afterwards in the pub, where we each order and pay for our own food and drink.

TRACEY EMIN: A SECOND LIFE
Tate Modern, Bankside
Daytime Dykes
This exhibition traces 40 years of Emin's work showcasing career-defining sensations alongside works never exhibited before.
Meet at at the entrance of the actual exhibition. We will go around the exhibition at our own pace and catch up in a local pub after the event. Details of the pub will be given on the day.

Fridays in London
Join us for a relaxed evening in the Refinery Bar Bankside. There isn't an official visit, but if you would like to see something at Tate Modern before you join us in the bar, it is just five mins away.

TECH CLASS

In this guided workshop, you will learn, step-by-step, how to join the Meetup website and/or app and navigate around them, and then how to join the KENRIC group. Account recovery/password resets are also covered, so if you previously had an account, we'll try to get you back in.

PÉTANQUE
Preston Park
Join us for a fun and friendly game of pétanque in Preston Park. Beginners, dabblers, experienced players and spectators welcome. Free to play.
Equipment provided. Suitable for all fitness levels. Wear whatever you feel comfortable playing in. We play for about an hour.
Attendees are welcome to return to the Rotunda for a post-game drink/snack. Parking close by.

COFFEE MORNING
Charleston, Lewes
After a successful trial run in March, we make a return visit to the café at Charleston in Lewes, just a couple of minutes' walk away from Depot and from Lewes station. Regulars and newbies welcome, with mingling encouraged! Meet in the café.

Screening of OUR STORY BY DAVID ATTENBOROUGH

A 50-minute film of the birth of life on our planet and how it evolves over millions of years.
Meet at the entrance of the actual screening. We will catch up in a local pub after the film. Details of the pub will be given on the day.

DEVIL'S DYKE WALK & LUNCH
Brighton
We are repeating last year's very popular "lunch with a walk" outing to the legendary Devil's Dyke. John Constable described the panorama from Devil's Dyke as "the grandest view in the world." Meet in the Devil's Dyke car park. The walk is a gentle two-mile linear stroll with lunch in the middle. Total walking time: approx. 90 mins.
Lunch/coffee/cake at Wildflower Café at Saddlescombe Farm.
Dogs are welcome under normal country code conditions.
