CATCH-UP
Come join our KENRIC online catch-up for members and friends, old and new. A general chat in small groups about life, films, food, places, recommendations, daily wins, and anything else!
An especially warm welcome to any new members of KENRIC who would like to join us to say hello.

THEMED BOOK CLUB
A place for sharing and learning about new books and authors. Each month there will be a theme.
Each month there will be a theme. This time, appropriately for the run-up to KENRIC's annual Eastbourne Weekend, the theme is The Seaside.
Attendees will have a chance to share their choice for future themes, as well as why they chose the book, why they like it (or not) and a summary of the storyline. There will also be the opportunity to ask questions.

COFFEE AT THE NATIONAL ARCHIVES
National Archives, Kew
Rescheduled!
As we discovered on our trip to the Love Letters exhibition in April, The National Archives has a great canteen and coffee shop, so we make a return visit this month, this time for coffee and a chat.
Everyone orders and pays for their own food and drink.

An interactive experience showcasing the history of science and illusion.

Early booking advised.
Meet at the entrance of the museum.
We will go around the exhibition at our own pace and catch up in a local pub after the event. Details of the pub will be given on the day.

PÉTANQUE
London
We return to Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens for a fun and friendly game of pétanque. All levels welcome (beginners and experienced players).
Free to play. Suitable for all fitness levels. Wear whatever is comfortable. Equipment: Provided (bring your own if you wish).
Meet at Tea House Theatre or at the pétanque area in Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens.
Post-game: option to join for a drink/snack at a nearby café/pub.

PÉTANQUE
Preston Park
Join us for a fun and friendly game of pétanque in Preston Park. Beginners, dabblers, experienced players and spectators welcome. Free to play.
Equipment provided. Suitable for all fitness levels. Wear whatever you feel comfortable playing in.
Meet inside at the Rotunda Café (look for us sitting on a table with boules bags) or at the nearby pétanque terrain (next to the tennis courts). We play for about an hour.
Attendees are welcome to return to the Rotunda for a post-game drink/snack.
Parking close by (Pay By Phone app), including accessible bays..

Hurvin Anderson's first major solo show brings together more than 80 of his vibrant paintings, spanning the artist's entire career, from his days as a student to new, never-before-seen paintings.
Meet at the entrance of the actual exhibition.
We will go around the exhibition at our own pace and catch up in a local pub after the event. Details of the pub will be given on the day.

Newhaven
Join us for a fun and friendly game of pétanque in Newhaven. Beginners, dabblers, experienced players and spectators welcome. Free to play.
Equipment provided. Suitable for all fitness levels. Wear whatever you feel comfortable playing in.
Meet in the Hope Inn, Newhaven. Park in the free pub car park. The pétanque area is opposite and we'll play for about an hour.
Lunch afterwards in the pub, where we each order and pay for our own food and drink.
